Outside costs are separate: Membership does not include outside laboratory tests, imaging, medications or other outside services unless specifically stated otherwise. Review the Terms & Conditions, including the cancellation deadline, before enrolling.

Payment Policy

Membership payments are automatically processed through Hint on the same calendar date each month based on the original enrollment date. Membership has a three-month minimum commitment; after three required monthly payments, it automatically continues month-to-month until canceled according to the Terms & Conditions. For pay-per-visit care, payment is due at the time of service.

If you enroll, use no clinical services, and cancel within 48 hours of enrollment, you may cancel without the three-month minimum. Clinical appointments, consultations, prescriptions, laboratory orders or other clinical services eliminate eligibility for this exception. If you do not cancel within 48 hours, the three-month minimum applies even if no clinical services have been used. Except for an eligible cancellation during the initial 48-hour period, membership payments are nonrefundable.

After satisfying the three-month minimum, you may cancel at any time. A cancellation request must be received at least 24 hours before the next scheduled automatic charge to prevent that charge. A request received less than 24 hours before the next charge may take effect for subsequent charges instead. Request cancellation through Spruce, by email to movirtualcare@gmail.com, or by phone/text at 573-279-3819.

Missouri Virtual Care is a direct-pay practice and currently does not accept, participate with, or bill any health insurance plan, including private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or other government healthcare programs. When available and appropriate, patients may request a superbill for independent submission to a private insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Missouri Virtual Care does not submit insurance claims on a patient’s behalf or guarantee reimbursement.

Medications, laboratory testing, imaging and other outside services may result in separate charges and are not included in membership or visit fees unless expressly stated otherwise. Compounded medication costs are separate; when a compounded medication is prescribed, the payment method on file is charged through Hint when the prescription is sent to the compounding pharmacy.

Contact Missouri Virtual Care before registering if you need clarification about current prices, billing, membership inclusions or cancellation terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about memberships and payment options.

How much is membership?

Individual membership is $55 per month, or $100 per month for couples. Membership includes unlimited virtual visits with no per-visit fees.

What is included in my membership?

Your membership includes unlimited virtual primary care visits, routine follow-ups, medication management and refills when appropriate, care for many acute and chronic conditions, and access to your provider for after-hours urgent needs when appropriate. Your provider can also order labs, imaging, and other testing when needed. Outside testing costs are not included in membership.

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

DPC is a membership-based healthcare model that gives you convenient access to your primary care provider for a flat monthly fee, without billing insurance for routine care.

Do I still need health insurance?

Yes, we recommend maintaining health coverage. Your membership is not health insurance and does not replace coverage for hospitalizations, specialists, surgery, imaging, or emergency care.

Can I use my HSA or FSA for membership and compounded medication costs?

Beginning January 1, 2026, HSA funds may pay qualifying Direct Primary Care fees. This does not automatically make every membership eligible or extend that rule to FSA membership payments. Eligible prescription expenses, including qualifying compounded medications, may qualify under applicable HSA or FSA rules. Confirm your specific arrangement and expense with your plan administrator or tax adviser.

How do I update my payment method or cancel my membership?

To update your payment method, use the member payment account, message us through Spruce, or call/text 573-279-3819.

After satisfying the three-month minimum commitment, you may cancel at any time. Your cancellation request must be received at least 24 hours before the next scheduled automatic charge to prevent that charge. If it arrives less than 24 hours before the charge, that charge may still be processed and cancellation will apply to subsequent charges. Request cancellation through Spruce, by email to movirtualcare@gmail.com, or by phone/text at 573-279-3819.

An unused membership may be canceled within 48 hours of enrollment without the three-month minimum. Use of any clinical service eliminates this exception. If you do not cancel within 48 hours, the three-month minimum applies even if you have used no clinical services. Except for an eligible cancellation during the initial 48-hour period, membership payments are nonrefundable. See the Terms & Conditions.

Do I have to become a member to receive care?

No. You can choose to pay $150 for an initial visit and $100 for follow-up visits without a membership. Missouri Virtual Care is a direct-pay practice and does not accept or bill health insurance. When available and appropriate, you may request a superbill for independent submission to a private insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Missouri Virtual Care does not submit claims on your behalf or guarantee reimbursement.
